Oversized T-Shirt Size Guide
A good fit starts with measurements, not just the letter on the label. An oversized T-shirt is designed with extra room, so going one size up is not an automatic rule.
Oversized T-shirt ka size kaise choose karein?
Apni favourite comfortable T-shirt ko flat rakhkar naap lo. Phir chosen product ke chest aur length measurements se compare karo. Sirf “main usually M pehenta hoon” ke basis par size select mat karo.
Measure a T-shirt you already like
- Lay it flat. Smooth it gently without stretching the fabric.
- Chest width: measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other.
- Length: measure from the highest shoulder point beside the neckline to the bottom hem.
- Compare like with like. A flat chest width is not the same as chest circumference. For example, a 21-inch flat width is approximately 42 inches around the garment. Neither measurement is your body measurement.
Should you go a size up?
Start by checking the measurements for the intended fit. An oversized cut already adds room through the body and often the shoulders and sleeves. Sizing up changes the length and other proportions too. A larger regular-fit tee may therefore sit differently from a purpose-cut oversized tee.
If you are between sizes, compare both the width and length with your reference T-shirt. Choose according to how much room you prefer, rather than following a universal “size up” or “size down” rule.
